Photos of the 'Craig Sager' Air Jordan I Surface for All-Star
Craig Sager's professional career as a courtside NBA analyst/broadcaster has been one of the most memorable in all of sports. And even though he's officially left us physically we can always refer back to some of those classic courtside interviews and corky suits that only he can pull off.
While battling leukemia Sager received one of the only two pairs of the sneaker pictured above known as the Air Jordan I 'Craig Sager' PE. Surprisingly, DJ Khaled received the alternate pair that were in existence at the time prior to Sager's passing in December of 2016. And now it looks like the 'Craig Sager' Air Jordan I could possibly see a wider release after Jordan Brand employee, Frank Cooker, flexed on the Gram in a pair preparing himself for this weekend's NBA All-Star festivities.
The kicks take on the wild aesthetic of plaid and stripes reminiscent of Sager's one-of-one style while leather tongue patches read Nike AIR in embossed textural fashion and the kicks are closed out by an icy translucent outsole that exposes the phrase 'Sager Vision'.
We miss Sager's poise, professionalism and presence on-screen but it looks like we all might get the opportunity to commemorate him with a possible release of the 'Craig Sager' PE. They might be busy but we want to know your thoughts on these joints.
