Dallas Police Chief Says Suspect Wanted to Kill Whites & White OfficersSince the shooting, the main suspect was killed after the cops exchanged gunfire when negotiations went sour. In a press release conducted by police chief David Brown, many concerns were addressed and information was given about the suspect who was killed. Brown stated that "The suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers. The suspect stated that he was not affiliated with any groups and he stated that he did this alone."
