Snoop Dogg Welcomes First Grandson
Snoop Dogg is making room for one more pup in the Dogg Pound by welcoming a new grandchild. His eldest son, Corde Broadus, also known as Spanky Danky, became the father of son Zion, Snoop’s first grandchild, on Saturday (Jan. 10).
The proud papa and grandpa gushed over baby Zion, sharing Instagram photos and videos of the newest Broadus just hours after his birth.
“Zion. Wit his uncle n dad. Can’t wait to meet u baby dogg!! My 1st grandson !! The saga continue,” the rapper wrote in a caption on Instagram.
Although Snoop was out of town for Zion’s birth, his youngest son, football star Cordell, was on hand to support his older brother. He joined in the festivities of celebrating his new nephew’s birth.
Corde, 21, is a young father just like his pops. He was born in 1994, when Snoop was just 23 years old — around the time his ‘Doggystyle’ album was released. Congrats to the Broadus clan!
