What's Happening in Memphis: July11-13th
Last weekend
was the Fourth and I spent my time in New Orleans, enjoying the “official”
grown and sexy rite of passage for African American’s known as “EssenceFest”. I SAW PRINCE YALLL!!!!! *Screams like a little girl/or rather a grown
ass woman who SAW PRINCE LIVE*

Friday, July 11th.
What: Jungle Boogie
Where: Buccaneer Lounge 10pm
Why Im interested: Jungle Boogie is really just something
you have to experience. One of the few places where you can go and not be
judged or ridiculed and just be. I aint even adding another event. Come out and
check this out. Period.

July 12th

Where: The Forge, 2493 Broad Ave, 7pm
Why Im interested: First, Marco Pave is an amazing up
and coming hip hop star. Young, gritty, yet wise and focused beyond his years,
the energy that he brings to the stage with each and every performance is damn
near hypnotizing. Second, His grind and
ability to make a way out of no way to support his dreams is more than
inspiring. And lastly, you add him and
my guy Tyke T on the same show and it has been proven it’s a shut down performance. Good Music, Great Cause. GET HERE.
