Women kills handicapped Boyfriend By Stranding Him in the Woods
A 27-year old woman in Georgia allegedly killed her ex-boyfriend who was paraplegic. Reports claim she dumped him in the middle of the woods and left him to die in the freezing cold weather.
Ruby Kate Coursey has been charged with felony murder and neglect of a disabled adult which is another felony. It is in connection with the death of Troymaine Johnson, 33, who was found dead at midnight on March 17. He was last seen alive on March 14. Reports from The Georgia Bureau of Investigation determined that he died of hypothermia.
Sheriff Dan Kilgore of Upson County, Georgia tells the media that Coursey allegedly dumped the paraplegic Johnson at a dirt road near a hunting camp in Upson County, in Middle Georgia. She allegedly gained access to the area by crashing her car through a gate.
“He was totally immobile...There was absolutely no way he’d be able to get out of there or call for help,” said Kilgore.
Johnson, tragically, was left to die as the temperature dropped to the 20s. He had no use of his legs and had limited use of one arm.
