North Korea....calls America Imperialist aggressors and we must defend ourselves
"The US missile strike against Syria is a clear and unforgivable aggression against a sovereign state and we strongly condemn it," a North Korean Foreign Ministry statement was quoted as saying Sunday [April 9th].
This is in reference to a chemical attack launched by the Bashar al-Assad controlled government against a rebel town in northern Syria that claimed the lives of over 80 civilians, more than 20 of which were children. On April 6th, Trump ordered a strike where approximately 59 tomahawk cruise missiles were fired at a Syrian airfield housing a fleet responsible for many of the bombings carried out by the government.
Considered in part a warning to North Korea, Kim Jong-un condemned the missile attack that also left 14 civilians dead. The North Korean Foreign Ministry cited that as an ally of Syria, the country must defend themselves against "imperialist aggressions." Thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
