Gunman Named in Mosque Terrorist Attack: University Student
The alleged gunman behind the Mosque shooting massacre in Quebec City has been identified as Alexandre Bissonnette, a French-Canadian student attending a local university. Condemned as a terrorist attack, the suspect's identity was determined after a police report was released in an effort to clear the second suspect's name, Mohamed el Khadir, who is know a witness.
Bissonette, who is in his late 20's, fled in his vehicle immediately after the shootings but placed a call to authorities later to confess his crime because he" felt bad". Police found two rifles and an AK-47 in the suspect's car. Bissonette comes from the affluent Quebec City Suburb of Cap Rouge and is scheduled to appear in court early next week.
Police have yet to reveal a motive behind the massacre, however, these series of events come less than a day after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned President Trump's ban on immigration. Stay posted for more information.
