After recovering from a knee injury earlier this year, Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose has suffered yet another injury during Tuesday's (September 29) practice after taking an elbow to the face. He was taken to Rush University Medical Center by the Bulls medical staff and it was determined that he suffered a left orbital fracture. Rose is scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday morning, with no timetable for a return to the team until after the surgery. The Chicago Tribune points out that similar injuries with other players have taken anywhere from five to 28 days to recover. Source: Chicago Tribune
