Nicole Simpson Told Us OJ Would Kill Her & Get Off
The matriarch of the Kardsahian-Jenner clan recently made an appearance on the Lifetime Movie Network as part of a documentary revisiting the murder of O.J. Simpson's wife, Nicole. Kris Jenner and her late husband, Robert Kardashian, were close friends of the wedded couple, and now 20 years after O.J. stood trial for Nicole's murder, Kris regrets not being there for her until it was too late.
In "The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case: The Untold Story," Kris Jenner says Nicole Simpson "knew she had to be more vocal with what was going on and she was in trouble" as she neared death. "The one thing she would tell all of us by the time, you know, it got to that level was, 'He's going to kill me and he's going to get away with it.'"
In the documentary - which airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET. - Kris also shares the guilt she felt as she sat in the courtroom during the intense trial. As her then-ex-husband played adviser to O.J., Jenner had to sit there and listen to the heartbreaking 911 call made by Nicole during a domestic dispute between her and Mr. Simpson. "I will always feel guilty that I didn't pay more attention and didn't speak up when I thought anything was wrong or asked her more, 'Do you want to talk about it?,'" Kris tells LMN. "Her voice, pleading for somebody to come to her house because she thought he was going to beat the s*** out of her, you know, I think that, that was so shocking to me because I had never heard that before."
