Clarity to Questions: Tre-8 exclusive interview

CLARITY TO THE QUESTIONS
TRE-8

At a young age, Tre was forced in tragedy. He had no choices, no answers. Just questions; Why this, why that. He lived a life beyond the normal hardships, often came out weak and guarded. He needed clarity, a vivid outlook on life and happiness. And there it was, right in front him and one day it just clicked. Music; see music cleared that void for Tre, guarded him from the darkness and shined a path many are afraid to crease. Tre delivers inspiration, without music just through his story. But he doesn't live by that, he brings inspiration to your story, to your journey, through his music. This is the exclusive interview on Tre-8 ONLY AT #V2

#1 -Tell us who is Tre-8, and the meaning behind the name?

Front CoverTre-8 the name actually came from the gun then went to Tre-Eighty and now Tre-8 it was simple and it just stuck with me. I'm Someone new you know, I try to make music that's not a repeat of a song u hear daily. U might just say I Am Music I'm Not A Noise Maker Not A rapper I make art

#2 -So you're from Tunica Mississippi, how life there and the music scene?
Life in Tunica is what you make of it, Its either you love it or you don't. I feel on the music end you are not judged on skill
it depends on how many people you know personally and my opinion is that most MCs from the area should not be doing this
it is but those are the ones that get the most support...I love my town and there are MCs that I listen to often so it is what

#3- Lets take a step back for a moment; You lost your stepfather in a tragic accident at such a young age. What happen, how did it affect you growing up?

He was electrocuted on the job and I had no idea how much one life could affect yours we lost everything but our clothes
and furniture and when I look back on it that was the day my childhood ended and the music began it was my getaway
from reality

#4-  So Music became your escape, who was that first artist for you that stood out and shaped who you are now?

Micheal Jackson! I remember sitting in from of that huge floor model tv in my batman pajamas that would glow in the dark
watching the  black or white video the day it premiered. I couldn't get the song or images from the video out of my head
i started singing and imitating his dance moves the came channel 36 THE BOX and i was glued to the tv every night possible watching videos wishing it was me i loved singing every song the came on the radio regardless of what it was

#5- Wait so you started off a singer then turned rapper, why the transition?

When the casinos came to tunica my grandparents mom and aunts use to go out gambling every now and then so myself and my cousins would have sing and dance contests in which my cousin quita and I would always tie for the win. so I kept practicing my singing
I don't know why but I was like I can do that too and instead of singing other peoples songs I should write my own rhymes
singing hoping one day id win lol. time went by and my first rap song I really listened to was Lil Troy - "Wanna be A Baller"
and would sing my own songs and as  time progressed I found myself rapping more and more until I rarely sing at all and later
formed a group with some of my guys from Tunica, called UGL

#6- You actually started off in a group, then turned solo, Tells us the story behind that ?

Everybody sort of went their own way after the release of our 3rd mixtape I've been trying to get everybody in the studio
for a fourth one but I think we've all outgrown the concept of a group but we all love music so ill continue as a solo
artist but my guys will be featured

#7-There was a period in your life where you was homeless, how was that and how you break from that?

It was an eye opener. A period in my life where I learned that things that aren't handed to you, that people you rely on wont
always be there and how hard life is alone. any where I could lay my head I did. I made money selling beats I would make
during the day at my grandads but that only got me enough money for food. I felt there was really no escape, I felt as if this
was the life I was always gonna live no escape, I attempted to sell drugs but after seeing people I knew joining the
military every month I thought I should try to join asap So I took the ASVAB and passed and off to Basic training I went
