Tupac Shakur "Holler If Ya Hear Me" Musical Preparing For Broadway DebutMusic from Tupac Shakur will be featured in Holler If Ya Hear Me, a musical set to open on Broadway June 19, according to ew.com. The musical will be previewed at the Palace starting May 26.

“Holler If Ya Hear Me” was a single and the first song featured on 2Pac’s second album, 1993’s Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z… He The collection also featured the singles “Keep Ya Head Up” and “I Get Around.”

Holler If Ya Hear Me is inspired by the late rapper's lyrics and is an original, non-biographical story about two friends in the inner-city in the Midwest written by Todd Kreidler, ew.com says. Afeni Shakur, the rapper’s mother, is one of the musical’s producers.

The rapper recorded as 2Pac and has been known by his given name, Tupac Shakur, more recently.
