Teenager Raped and Beaten to Death by Men Over Drug Money
Bond was set at $1 million Tuesday for two men accused of attacking and killing a teen during a drug deal over the weekend. Police said Michael Geldrich and Michael Watson robbed, beat and sexually assaulted 16-year-old Dione Payne of Dayton, Ohio, before dropping him off at Atrium Medical Center Sunday

Investigators said Payne was at the Franklin home to sell drugs to the men when the attack happened. The suspects later dropped the teen off in a black pickup, authorities said. Less than 24 hours later, the truck was found and both men were arrested.
They are charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated murder. "Why would you want to beat somebody to death, said Bernice Peters, whose family lives next door to the crime scene. "I mean, I don't know what the situation was and don't want to know but still -- to beat someone to death in your home?"
They could face the death penalty if convicted.

Payne was later transferred to Miami Valley Regional Hospital in Dayton where he was pronounced dead.
