'The Jerry Springer Show' Reportedly Stops Production After 27 Years
According to reports, The Jerry Springer Show reportedly is stopping production on the show.
The show first aired in 1991, and has aired over 4,000 episodes since then. At one during his run in the 1990s, the talk show host’s rating topped Oprah, with over 10 million viewers per day.
In April 2018, the staff of the long-running talk show was informed about the possible halt of the syndicated show. The CW reportedly came in with a deal for the series, but only to air repeats. The CW allegedly has the option to air all-new episodes if they desire.
