KIM too close to bodyguard. Fired by Kanye
Kanye West’s former bodyguard said the rapper is one of the most “condescending” people he’s ever worked with and that his wife Kim Kardashian was the polar opposite.
Steve Stanulis, a former NYPD officer and stripper recently let loose on West in an interview with the Daily News where he claims that he was fired for allegedly flirting with Kim Kardashian, which he claims never happened. “He’s the most condescending person I’ve ever met in my life,” said Stannous to the Daily News. “I’ve worked with a lot of people in his position and higher a lot less self-absorbed and more humble.” Stanulis believes the firing happened after handlers saw him conversing with Kardashian shortly before he was scheduled to drive them to the Met Gala in New York City on Monday. ”She was just naturally speaking to me in a normal manner,” he said. “I would describe it as her being very gracious and having a nice dialogue. I was surprised she was very nice. She’s the polar opposite with me than he was.”
The West family responded to the reports and said Stanulis was hired for just one day and is claiming he was fired in order to attract media attention, according to TMZ. A source close to the couple said he was only hired by the head of their security to help out before the Met Gala and was not let go from any permanent position. Stanulis has worked with them before, but will not get called again after speaking out against West, according to the report.
Stanulis on the other hand responded to their claim and says it wasn’t his intention to catch all of this attention from the media. “My intent was not for this to happen,” said Stanulis to the Daily News. “When I’m walking outside my door and there are six guys with cameras asking me with my wife there ‘are you f***ing Kim Kardashian?’ I didn’t ask for that!” The Daily News report also reveals West had an issue with Stanulis back in February when he found him chatting with Kardashian.
