Friday morning, Sean “Diddy” Combs stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to discuss the opening of his latest philanthropic effort—Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School.  The upbeat interview was nearly thrown off course when Charlamagne Tha God set up a question about a Netflix movie alleging that the Revolt TV CEO hired a Los Angeles area gang member to murder Tupac Shakur.
Combs sensing the direction of the probe refused to address the controversial claims stating, “We don’t talk about things that are nonsense...we are not even going to go there with all due respect. But I appreciate you as a journalist for asking.” The rumors of Combs involvement in Tupac’s untimely demise have persisted since the late 1990s, the hip-hop mogul has vehemently denied the claims although, never discussing the matter in-depth publicly.
The controversial documentary, Murder Rap, based on a book of the same named authored by Veteran Los Angeles Police Department detective, Greg Kading, was released on Netflix in the spring of 2016.
