6-Year-Old Fatally Shot By Marshals Pursuing His Father
A 6-year-old boy named Jeremy Mardis was fatally shot by marshals in Marksville, LA who were trying to serve the boy's father with a warrant. The coroner said the boy's father, Chris Few, entered a dead end when the marshals fired at his vehicle, fatally wounding Mardis in the head and chest.
The boy's grandmother, Samantha Few, spoke about the unfortunate situation, "He was diagnosed with autism when he was 2. He loved everyone he met and they loved him. As far as what caused his death, the only thing I have been told is he died from gunshot wounds. He didn't deserve what happened. He wouldn't hurt a fly."
The incident is currently being investigated by state police, who have provided few details on the situation.
