Meek's Artist Murdered After Pouring Champagne on Girlfriend

More details have come to light about the murder of Meek Mill's artist Dex Osama after his girlfriend, Chantell Sturdivant testified in court this week.

She revealed that Osama came to Crazy Horse strip club on Michigan Avenue in Detroit to see her at work for the first time, but when she was about to dance for a mutual friend Osama reportedly signaled her not to dance. Sturdivant then testified that Osama angrily approached her and poured champagne on her and telling her to get dressed. She revealed that she ran to the back of the club, where she heard one shot fired, but Sturdivant said she didn't see the gunman.

Detroit police say two groups of men got into an argument outside of the club and Dex Osama was shot. He later walked into a gas station, where he collapsed and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

Otis Davis, 46, faces charges of open murder, possession of a firearm by a felon and felony firearm in the case. Dietrick Odums, 31, was charged with assault with intent to murder, possession of a firearm by a felon and felony firearm. A judge has yet to determine whether the defendants will proceed to trial on felony charges.
