The drama surrounding the Trump administration continues to unfold.
First, adult film star Stormy Daniels was spilling the beans about her alleged affair with the president, then Donald Trump Jr.'s recent affair scandal rocked The White House this past week. Now, Mr. 45 is facing even more drama.
Summer Zervos revealed that Trump sexually assaulted her twice after the two met on "The Apprentice" in 2005. She is a former contestant on the show. During Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, a tape of the outspoken businessman was leaked where he brags about making sexual advances on women without their consent. It was after that recording became public that Zervos decided to take a stand. She claims that Trump embraced and kissed her against her will at his New York office in 2007. Zervos also alleges that the president groped her in a Beverly Hills hotel after she met him about a potential job offer.
Justice Jennifer Schecter in the Manhattan Supreme Court is allowing Zervos to proceed with her lawsuit against Trump, stating that, "No one is above the law." The president attempted to have the case thrown out in court. Schecter has overruled him.
The case, Zervos v Trump, New York State Supreme Court, New York County, No. 150522/2017, will proceed later this year.
