Rapper ILoveMakonnen boyfriend dies suddenly

May 2, 2017: Rapper Makonnen’s longtime friend, companion and “personal assistant” Marcus Daniels passed away last week. Marcus was loved by almost EVERYONE that crossed his path, so it’s sad that he passed away so young – he was just 36 years old.

The family would like to keep the exact details and nature of his illness private, but here is the “official statement” they put out on the GoFundMe page:

Friends and Family it is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you of the loss of a precious soul, Marcus Daniels. On the night of April 29th Marcus passed away due to complications with cancer. As I am typing this now I know he is probably cursing me out for sharing this information; Marcus was a very private and proud man and near the end he was still trying to protect us all.
