50 Cent, Tyrese Ask Chris Rock to Step Down as Oscars Host

As the Oscars gradually approach, Chris Rock is getting some major heat on whether he should join Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee in protesting the 88th Academy Award show. Recently, rapper 50 Cent and actor Tyrese tried to convince the Top Five comedian to bow out from hosting the show. Yesterday (Jan. 19), while taking some time away from slandering Meek Mill, the mogul posted a photo of the comedian and begged him to join the protest, writing, "Chris please do not do the oscars awards. You mean a lot man, don't do it. Please." Joining the stance, the Fast and Furious actor also asked Rock to step away, posting on Instagram, "Chris Rock do the right thing make a statement - were relying on you to DO the right thing..... There is NO JOKE YOU CAN CRACK TO EVER CHANGE THE WAY WE ALL FEEL!"
