T.I Releases Statement On $4.5 Million Tax Lien

T.I has released a statement on reports that he owes the IRS $4.5 million in unpaid taxes.

In a statement to US Weekly, the representative says the rapper plans to speak with the right parties to resolve the issue. News of T.I's tax problems came to light on Friday when it was reported the IRS planned to seize a car, his Atlanta home and a rolex watch to cover the the rapper's two years of unpaid taxes. In 2012, the rapper owed $1,397,283.47 and $3,173,476.39 from 2013.

Tip is reportedly worth $215 million. He also has a few clothing lines, businesses like Atlanta hot-spot Club Crucial, Vibe Restaurant and Lounge and the Hustle Gang record label. This year, he was on the Forbes List of highest paid rappers after making a cool $75 million from his businesses and reality show, TI & Tiny: The Family Hustle on VH1.
