ERICA MENA: I WAS NEVER GAY, BUT DID SMASH WOMEN BEFORE BOW WOW

Erica Mena is currently engaged to rapper, actor and television host Shad "Bow Wow" Moss and while the two seem like a very happy couple, many question their relationship because of Mena's past with women, namely Cyn Santana, the ex-girlfriend she introduced to the world via Love & Hip-Hop. The two were only broken up for a short time before word of Mena and Bow Wow being an item began to spread.

Mena addresses her past with women in the current issue of Rolling Out, where she says she was never "gay" but has openly dated women and has been bisexual for a while, so it shouldn't be a huge deal if she dates men or women.

In the past, I've been very open and affectionate towards females. It's definitely no secret. At that point, I was dating a woman and brought her on the show."

She also admits that she and Bow Wow were both in relationships with other people when they shared their now infamous kiss on 106 & Park. Soon after, she realized he was the one.

"When that whole "106 & Park" kiss happened, we were both seeing other people and that kiss put us in the doghouse. So we were kind of confiding in each other. I realized that he is a man who really knows me and I've never had someone to fully accept me for who I am, flaws and all...So it just happened and I discovered that this was the person that I was really supposed to be with."

The reality show star also speaks on this season of L&HH, saying she and Cyn broke up a while ago, so fans are actually just catching up with their drama.

"I think people are trying to put pieces together in other people's lives so much that they are not living their own life. Cyn and I have been broken up for a while, I just hadn't publicly come out about it because I'm on reality television."

Lastly, she shares how Bow Wow was able to "tame" her when other men (and women) couldn't.

"He's so dominating and that just turns me on because I'm usually the dominating one. I'm a Scorpio, so I call the shots. It's different to have someone that you can finally be submissive to. So dealing with a woman like me, it's kind of like, 'can she be tamed?' It's all a matter of, are you man enough to tame the woman."
