I grew up in Mitchell Heights (in Memphis, TN) next to a couple crack houses but my mom made sure our household had the best that she could give us. My pops was in the Army and my folks got divorced when I was 6, but he was still heavy in our lives. Shit was real rough at times but we had PLENTY of good time too ya know. When we moved to Raleigh-Millington I basically just stayed in Binghamton all day and night wit my folks from school so that became my hood too... Being in the Hamp helped me escape a lot of bullshit at home. I wouldn’t change the way I grew up for nothing though. It made me who I am”
