I'm Just A young Mexican Dude Grinding Following My Dreams
Capturing The illest Of Life With My eyes And My camera.
2.How did you get the name Juice Lopex?
I Got the nickname "Juice" from One of My homies
Back when I use to write. My Real Name Is Hugo but, it sounds like the word
(Juice). When it's pronounced in Spanish so that's why my homies started calling me
"Juice". Then later in time I added "Lopex" To Let People know
the I'm Mexican and proud of it.
3.Who is your favorite photographer?
I Love When people Ask Me This Question Because It's an Honor To
Say who iss My Favorite Photographer. Its Definitely Mr. "Estevan Oriol"
One of my inspirations In Photography: My Respect to that Man.
4.What type of camera you use?
5.What got you into photography?
Graffiti Is One of Reasons I got into Photography when I use
to see my homies up there bombing/tagging walls and getting on the trains
tagging I thought it was like a Movie. So I Knew I Had To Get Me A Camera And
Shoot My View.
6.It seems most of your art is in black & white why?
I Always Liked The Old and Classic Things, And Not Most of
the Photographers Here In Memphis. Shoot
Black and White and I think that's Kind of Stupid Because Some Think is "Out
of Style". So I grab The "Out Of Style" And Add It To My Style. Is
Just My Point Of View.
7.How do you like shooting in Memphis/does this place have a
good art scene?
I'm Fine Shooting In
Memphis Because I Just Shoot Lifestyle
and I Have My Favorite Spots Of Shooting. The art Scene In Memphis is kind if dead. I Don't See Much Support From The People Here alot of Artist Are Leaving
Memphis Because Of That Same Reason. But, at The Same Time The ART Community Is
Really growing i Seen More Good Artists Up there, I Hope it Keeps Going that
Way.
8.You seem to have a very urban vibe about your shots, why
does that translate?
I've Always Been Around Street Artists and I grow up Listening
To Hip Hop. So For Me Having That Urban Vibe in My Shots Is A Way to Let People
Know Where I Came From And How I Grew Up.
9.What’s your favorite thing about shooting and the thing
you hate most?
Definitely Love Shooting Because I Always get to find New
Spots To Shoot Around the city. I Always get To Meet New People. Which I think
is ill.
I Hate When it Rains Right when I'm shooting or When People
Ask Me About They're Pictures Every Day It Get on My nerves haha.
