Momma Dee - whose real name is Deborah Gaither Bryant - is a 55 year old actress, singer and reality television personality, best known for her appearances in the VH1 hit reality show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Her son, 35 year old rapper Scrappy, co-stars on the reality show with her.
Momma Dee is known for her over the top antics, and her unusual personality. She was involved in a car accident when Scrappy was a baby, and was left her in a wheelchair for three years.
Unable to work a traditional job due to her disability, Momma Dee became a pimp and drug dealer in order to provide for her family. She ran a brothel for ten years under the name "Lady Dee"
