Since Meek Mill left prison two weeks ago, his mission has been to attack the corruption in the Justice System. Meek was himself a victim of a corrupt system and has been entangled with the courts for a decade. Originally, the Philadephia rapper was arrested by a corrupt cop. The discovery that the arresting officer was corrupt helped get Meek released from prison, although the judge on the case is trying as hard as she can to throw him back behind bars.
Meek has done several interviews since leaving prison and even held a press conference alongside Pennsylvania governor Tom Wolf. Now, Meek is reported to be taking his political mission one step further. TMZ reports that Meek will be visiting the White House on Friday. It has not been specified if Meek will be meeting with President Trump or someone else that works on Capitol Hill.
Meek will be visiting the nation's capital to speak about prison reform. After being released, seeking a way to help other individuals find proper justice has been Meek's mission. In a recent interview on 105.1's The Breakfast Club, Meek revealed that his money and being in the position to hire lawyers might have saved his life. He's worried about the people who don't have that kind of access.
