In addition to making a huge first impression courtesy of her chart topping debut album, Cardi B will be making history when Billboard presents its results for April 21, and it'll have all to do with her presence on some of music's hottest singles.
Thanks to her appearance on 13 records projected to slot on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, the Bronx rapper will break the record for the most titles (by a female solo artist) to rank simultaneously on the list.
Beloved megastar, Beyoncé, previously held the distinction thanks to a string of 12 songs off of her revered "Lemonade" project that rose up to earn spots among the rankings on May 14, 2016.
Cardi is slated to surpass the mark thanks to the streaming performance of "I Like It," "Be Careful," "Drip," "I Do," "Ring," "Bartier Carti," "Get Up 10," "Best Life," "Bickenhead," "Thru Your Phone," "She Bad," "Money Bag," and "Finesse" with Bruno Mars.
Cardi still has a ways to go, however, if she is to get ahead of the all-time leader in the category of singles ranking simultaneous, as Drake remains firmly planted above any other artist with 24 tracks on the charts at the same time. Nevertheless, the news is sweet considering it comes only days after she beat Taylor Swift's Apple Music streaming record.
