People mad at Walmart for black santa claus statue

November 24, 2017: A Walmart store in Tupelo, Mississippi, is coming under fire on social media – for making a “racist” Santa Claus Black Friday display.

The Walmart store has a sizeable African-American customer base – so they may have been using the “Black Friday Santa”  as some sort of cultural messaging.
