Charlamagne may sue Rolling Stone

Charlamagne Blasts Rolling Stone

Charlamagne tha God is about sick and tired of the accusations that he’s transphobic flying his way after Lil Duval’s controversial appearance on The Breakfast Club. Mainly because the comments that have everyone so heated up never came out of his mouth.
Now, he’s taking legal action to clear his name.
Charlamagne issued a legal letter to Rolling Stone Magazine over a headline they ran on their online site last week, insinuating that he was the one dismissively making jokes about trans women getting murdered…when he was actually the one to tell Duval that that’s an extreme response, and a hate crime. The headline, referencing Janet Mock’s response letter, was initially titled “Janet Mock on Charlamagne tha God’s Transphobic Comments.” After some pushback, it was changed to “Janet Mock Speaks Out Following Charlamagne tha God’s Controversial Morning Show.”
But according to TMZ, Charlamagne says that’s not enough. Since he feels the headlines were misleading and defamatory to his brand, he wants a formal apology, as well as a retraction of the defamatory statement and some cash for his troubles.
Interesting to see Charlamagne being the one not liking something said about him for a change. Do you think Rolling Stone will pay up?
