Republican shot at baseball game

Congressman Steve Scalise was shot Wednesday morning in Alexandria, Virginia, according to a House of Representatives colleague. The shooting, described as a "deliberate attack," took place at a practice for the GOP baseball team.

Scalise, (R-LA), is the House of Representatives Majority Whip. He was reportedly shot in the hip. Two other Capitol Hill officials were also wounded, sources say.

Law enforcement officials say the shooter is in custody.
