Former 49ers Player Arrested for Allegedly Raping Disabled Woman
Former 49ers defensive lineman Dana Stubblefield was arrested for allegedly raping a mentally disabled woman in 2015. According to TMZ, Stubblefield invited the woman over to his home after finding her on a babysitting site, and instead of interviewing her, the athlete reportedly raped the woman.
The 31-year-old unnamed victim went to police right after the evidence, and they found enough evidence to arrest Stubblefield and charge him with rape by force, rape of a victim incapable of giving consent, oral copulation by force, oral copulation with a person incapable of giving consent and false imprisonment.
Stubblefield's bail was set at $250,000, and officials want him to submit to an AIDS test. According to officials, the athlete is facing "substantial" prison time if convicted.
