Jared Fogle's Texts About Underage Kids (its what I crave)
Last year, former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle was convicted and sentenced to more than the maximum recommended amount of time for child molestation — 15 and a half years. Now, Fogle has asked an appeals court to get rid of his max sentence, saying that he should have not received more than 12 and a half years, which is the actual max.
Despite Fogle’s appeal, a U.S. attorney filed legal documents that agree with the harsher sentence for the former Subway personality. The reasoning stems from a text exchange Fogle had with a woman where he asked her about prices for girls 16 years old and under. According to the documents filed, Fogle asked the woman "Do you have any access to any young girls? Like 15 or 16?" When asked why by the woman, he stated “Cause it’s what I crave.”
