White man gets harrassed by black student for having dreadlocks

San Francisco State University has launched an investigation after a video went viral of a Black student confronting a White student and claiming he was appropriating Black culture with his dreadlocks. University officials say that no criminal charges have been filed in the incident, which involved the Black student, identified as Bonita Tindle, grabbing the arm of White student, who later identified himself as Cory Goldstein.
Goldstein can be heard asking, "You're saying that I can't have a hairstyle because of your culture? Why?," to which Tindle responded, "Because it's my culture. Do you know what locks mean?" When Goldstein attempted to walk away from the situation, Tindle can be seen grabbing his arm and attempting to discuss the situation further. She then added, "You put your hands on me, you're going to learn" after noticing that the ordeal was being videotaped.
Goldstein released a message on his Facebook page to address the situation, telling followers, "Hey all so i wanted to mention that I am not filing any criminal charges against the girl who harassed me yesterday. I did file a formal campus police report and I decided to let the education system deal with her."
University spokesman Jonathan Morales also denied previous reports that Tindle was an employee at the school, and he added, "We are taking the matter seriously and will promptly and thoroughly investigate this incident through applicable university channels, including our campus student conduct procedures."
