A McDonald’s in Britain has been forced to hire a bouncer to keep unruly teenagers in line.

The restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland, took the drastic measure after staff and customers suffered abuse from the gang of 40 youths.

McDonald’s bosses insisted it was a “very unusual” measure brought in as a last resort after staff were “harassed” and sworn at, reported Mirror Online.

Security staff will now be on site from 7pm every evening to ensure “a safe, family-friendly atmosphere” at the restaurant.

Police have had to be called out to deal with the troublemakers, and under-16s are now banned unless supervised by an adult.
