Maryland Officer Gets Five Years in Prison for Pointing Gun at Man's Head
Prince George's County police officer, Jenchesky Santiago, has been sentenced to five years in prison for pointing his gun to a man's head. In May 2014, William Cunningham and his cousin were approached by Santiago as they sat in a parked car outside of Cunningham's home. A cellphone camera caught the shamed police officer daring Cunningham to fight him as he pointed his service gun to his head. Friday (Jan. 8), Santiago was found guilty of first and second degree assault, two counts of misconduct in office and using his handgun during a crime of violence.
