Police brutality has been a constant topic in the media this year, and Meek Mill decided to speak out on Instagram against the injustices he's seen.
The Philly emcee shared a video of a man being aggressively beaten by police which he captioned, "These are the people that make up the charges that the people have to face in court for our freedom! I can almost guarantee he got 30 charges because they have to make up a reason why they beat him so bad! This is the biggest game of them all #thesystem."
The video features Alameda County sheriff's deputies chasing down suspected car thief, Stanislav Petrov, who did not seem to be resisting arrest. In light of the recently released footage, San Francisco Public Defender Brendon Woods is calling for the district attorney's office and state attorney general's office to investigate the deputies for potential charges.
