Omarion Cancels Appearance At DSKTRT For Denying Dark Skinned Women

Last week we reported that a group of British Black women were denied entry into exclusive nightclub DSTRKT in London for reportedly being ‘too dark’ and ‘too fat’ to be seen in the popular club.

One of the ladies says the promoter went to the door girl and asked why she wasn’t letting them in but was told, ‘I don’t think they’re good looking enough’ and later in an text message exchange with the DSTRKT promoter, the group of women were later informed that they were rejected at the door because one of the girls was “too dark” and another was “overweight.”

R&B singer Omarion recently canceled his appearance at the nightclub after the protests and allegations of discrimination went viral:

The nightclub had been promoting Omarion’s appearance as recently as Friday afternoon. Also, On its website, DSTRKT says it has a long list of celebrity visitors, including Kim Kardashian, Jay Z, Rihanna & more.
