Doctors Order Amanda Bynes to Stay in Psych Ward

Amanda Bynes' doctors believe the actress is still too ill to be back in the hands of her parents.

According to TMZ, Bynes will remain at a treatment psychiatric facility in Los Angeles for another month. Her doctors received the approval to keep the actress after they claimed Bynes still presented a threat to herself and others.

The actress was allegedly diagnosed with bipolar disorder earlier this year. Bynes has displayed troubling behavior on Twitter and in public, as she accused her father of sexual and physical assault.

She took back her claims and stated that her father placed a microchip in her brain. Bynes' parents tricked her into being admitted on Oct. 10 after her DUI arrest and bizarre tweets.

If the extension wasn't given to the facility, the 28-year-old would have been able to leave on Tuesday.
