Chinese Boy Has Arm Amputated After Bear Attacked Him At Zoo

According to The Guardian reports:

A bear in central China has bitten off the arm of a nine-year-old boy who tried to feed it through the bars of its cage.
Media reports said the attack happened on Saturday afternoon at a zoo in Pingdingshan Hebin park in Henan province.
A doctor at the Pingdingshan Number 152 hospital said the boy lost his entire right arm, which had to be amputated.

This is really messed up but failing to show proper respect to an animal of that size and nature will result in this kind of thing time and time again. Parents, please teach your kids to keep their limbs away from animals, caged or otherwise. We wish the kid a quick recovery and hope he adjusts to being left-handed.
