This weekend, Erica Mena announced her engagement to rapper and "106 & Park" host, Shad "Bow Wow" Moss via Instagram with a pic of a pretty impressive rock on her hand next to Moss' iced out Rolex. She also revealed the news to Jack Thriller of Thisis50 on the BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet.

While there is a sprinkling of congratulatory wishes being thrown the couple's way, most observers familiar with them are expressing mass confusion, saying that the couple hasn't been together long enough to get married while also bringing up the fact that Mena's last serious relationship was with a woman.
