Whats Going on in Memphis: August 8-10
So things have been a
little hectic at my day job so I took a little hiatus from writing. Did ya miss me?
Im back this week and Memphis has not missed a step. There
is a LOT going on in the city this weekend. Most Notably being the fact that 2 of the most prominent sources
for my college soundtrack of foolishness will be in the M-town on Saturday…
Mystikal and Junvenile! Yes “the man
right chea” and “that juvenile he on fire” “Mr 400 Degrees” him self will be in
the city. But there are also a host of

Its an event dedicated to the growth and recognition of women in
Theater in Memphis. I’m all about it! This event will feature plays, one woman
shows, and seminars a little something

Where: The
Levitt Shell dusk
Why I’m Interested: I love Led Zeppelin and the
Levitt Shell. This is part of the Indie Memphis concert series running at the

Why I’m Interested: Im a product and proud perpetuator
of hip hop culture.. I also love
innovative ways to give back. These reps the good in hip hop and benefits Mid
South Food Bank. A definite must

of Binghamton, Born and Bred and I still like to let my hair down and kick it.

Why I’m Interested: I love Arean and the double AA
band. Arean has been pursuing her dreams
in LA and gave one hell of a performance when she left. I guarantee the birthday
performance will top that and I cannot wait!
What: Full Moon
Raggae Sundays featuring Ras Empress

Why I’m Interested: featuring one of my favorite
local reggae bands, Ras Empress this set will feature an Artist market and food
