Soulja Boy: People Hate, But I Want to Be one of the Best Rapper's of all time
Soulja Boy has been steadily putting out music for nearly seven years, and the Atlanta rapper told XXL that he still has aspirations of leaving a legacy behind after becoming the best rapper. He admits that he has people out there that hate on him, but he's not going to let that derail his plans.
"I want to be the best rapper. Really. Deep down. As much as n*ggas hate on me and talk sh*t, I still come out with the hits. I still make the hardest beats. I drop a video all the time. I always have people talking about me. I always rock. My secret is, I really want this sh*t. You know what I am saying? A lot of rappers , they be in this position, they don't really want this sh*t."
Other aspirations were also revealed, "I want another platinum album. I want another diamond album. I want a Grammy. I want a collab with Jay Z. I want a collab with Rihanna. ... I'm 23, I ain't gonna be rapping when I am 40. I'ma stop at, like, 30-something. Retire at 29 or some sh*t. I feel like once I'm 30--"OK, I'm going to own a corporation or some sh*t."
