Lil Wayne Would Ask for $25-30M to Do Another Solo Album

Lil Wayne promised fans that he was going to release "Carter V," but the superstar rapper admitted that it would take a huge chunk of money for him to put out another solo album. While talking to MTV News, Wayne revealed, "25 to 35 million would get me to do another solo album after this. I didn't smile when I said it."

Tunechi explained that he's working hard on the last installment of his "Carter" albums, and can't see himself doing more work than this in the future. While talking about his solo plans, Wayne also didn't rule out doing collaborations, like on the recently released YMCMB effort, "Rise of an Empire."

"I personally plan on this being my final solo album, yes and it's definitely the final Carter album. It's the final Carter album. It's stopping at five," added Wayne. "The reason being is because the way I'm working on this album, to me, it seems like it will be impossible for me to work this hard again for anything else."
