Soulja Boy dresses as Nas in New Pic- Nas reaction...

Nas recently tweeted about Soulja Boy's cover art for his 2012 mixtape, "Young & Flexin" that clearly was inspired by the Queens rapper. Instead of being angry about the now year-old cover art Nas seeemed impressed, tweeting "Sh*t Dope" along with a photo.

Back in 2008, Soulja didn't seem too impressed with Nas, as he spoke about how the "Daughters" rapper changed the rap game when he said "hip hop is dead." In a leaked video, Soulja seemed upset about how it changed the course of things in the industry. 

"Real talk the n*gga that killed hip-hop for real is Nas, dawg. He came out publicly and said hip-hop is dead, and then after that everybody start saying [it]. Cause think about it, if Nas woulda never said hip-hop is dead then mof*ckers woulda never thought it died. They woulda never had that terminology." 

It seems that Soulja looked beyond Nas' prolific statement and found inspiration in Nas' photo for his own work. Hit the above slide to view Nas' tweet:
