Jason Collins COMES OUT AS GAY WASHINGTON WIZARDS NBA (Stars Speak up)

Washington Wizards center Jason Collins made history on Monday when he became the first active professional male athlete in an American leauge to come out as openly gay.

Because of the traditionally ultra-macho culture of men's professional sports, Collins' decision to open up about his sexuality can only be described as tremendously courageous.

Thousands of folks, including many celebs, took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the matter, with the overwhelming majority of people voicing their support.
