Twitter cornily calls Cardi B "Catfish B" as she is caught without makeup

Female rap sensation Cardi B has a new nickname on Twitter, Catfish B. The social media star and rapper was spotted out yesterday in New York without makeup.

And when the images of Cardi made there way online, she started trending. Actually it was her new nickname "Catfish B" that was trending on social media.

A "catfish" is someone who pretends to be someone else, especially on the internet. Found on anywhere from instagram to twitter to chat sites, these people use manipulated, or fake pictures to disguise who they are.

Cardi is known for using excessive makeup and filters to alter her looks.

But without the makeup, Offset's wife looks like a whole different person.

Cardi B is a platinum selling female rapper who is best known for her song Bodak Yellow, that took the world by storm in 2017. She's married to Migos rapper Offest, and has a daughter by her husband named Kulture.
