Rapper Blueface arrested and robbed in the same night!
Los Angeles rapper Blueface was robbed, and then arrested last night in Los Angeles. It was a bad night for the young rapper.
Blueface blew up online a few months ago when he released his song "Respect My Crypn" - and became a viral internet meme due to his off-beat style of rapping and high-pitched voice.
His buzz has grown exponentially in the past few months.
But as his buzz grew, the wolves came after him - and last night they caught him.
According to multiple reports, Blueface was robbed, and had his chain snatched from his neck. When the rapper tried to go after the robbers, police grabbed him and detained him for a suspected assault.
Eventually the police let Blueface go, but the damage was done. The chain snatchers managed to get away with Blueface's chain - in all the commotion.
Here is the video:
Blueface began rapping in January 2018 under the stage name Blueface Bleedem, a reference to his ties to the School Yard Crip gang. Originally moving back to Los Angeles after leaving his college football career behind, he was invited to his friend and later producer, Laudiano's studio to retrieve a charger and after being challenged to rap over a beat. His real name is Jonathan Porter and he began to work and collaborate with Laudiano to release his first song, "Dead Locs" to Soundcloud. In June 2018, he released his first full-length project, Famous Cryp. In September 2018, after the song and EP helped him build a local following in California, he released his second EP, Two Coccy to Soundcloud and Spotify.
