UFC fighter Polyana Viana has a 1-1 professional record but is undefeated in the streets. According to reports, the Brazilian was waiting on an Uber in Rio de Janeiro when a robber threatened her and demanded her belongings. Viana said the man stated he had a gun but expressed that she thought he was lying. "He was really close to me. So I thought, ‘If it’s a gun, he won’t have time to draw it,'" Viana told MMA Junkie. 
The fighter subsequently sprung into action, serving the robber with a series of punches, kicks, and subdued him with a rear-naked choke until authorities arrived. Viana said, "Since he took the punches very quickly, I think he was scared. So he didn’t react anymore. He told me to let him go, like ‘I just asked for the time.’ I said, ‘Asked for the time my ass,’ because he saw I was very angry. I said I wouldn’t let go and that I was going to call the police." 
UFC chairman Dana White shared the news on IG with a picture of Polyana and her assailant with the caption: "On the left is @polyanaviana, one of our @UFC fighters and on the right is the guy who tried to rob her #badf**kingidea"
