According to The Daily Beast, Tekashi 6ix9ine's former manager, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, is accused of fleecing the Brooklyn rapper for $2.2 million in show money.
This came to light after the standard financial disclosure statements in court this week after co-defendants in the federal case - Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones, who is described by police as the head of the 9 Treys, Jensel “Ish” Butler and Faheem “Crippy” Walter all claimed they were too broke to afford a lawyer. Shotti admitted that he had $60,000 in a checking account, but police believe he pocketed at least $2.2 million from a show Tekashi did.
A source revealed that a promoter reached out to Tekashi directly following a show he did to tell him that he should've gotten $2.5 million. However, Shotti reportedly only gave Tekashi $300,000. Police believe that Shotti kept the information from the other men who were arraigned with him and who were also fired by Tekashi following his arrest.
Authorities also have pointed to Mel Murda as being the person heard saying he wanted to "super violate" Tekashi on a wiretap. A senior law enforcement official told The Daily Beast that Shottie is "caught between the golden goose he killed and Mel Murda."
