Damon Wayans announced on Wednesday (October 3) that he was quitting Fox's Lethal Weapon series after finishing the 13 episodes for season 3. He told Eurweb, "I’m going to be quitting the show in December after we finish the initial 13. So I really don’t know what they’re planning, but that’s what I’m planning. I’m a 58-year-old diabetic and I’m working 16-hour days."
Wayans stated, "I’m done. Like Murtaugh said, I’m too old for this," adding that he's "going to return to the stage and try to find my smile again."
